Hello, my name is Mario Evyeniou, im a greek cypriot living here, in the uk.
I`ve been playing the bouzouki for 30 years, and have building them for the last nine years.

Having heard and played countless bouzoukia in the past, i know and understand a players needs for that certain bouzouki sound which i feel we all hunger for ..
So with , not only my experience as a hardened player, but as a luthier, i strive to achieve the best possible sounding bouzouki,s available today.

I only use the finest quality materials available, including 7 peice laminated necks (i do not use trussrods, unless asked to).

I use rosewood, wallnut or cherry bowls, (skafos) either full or partially ornamentated, the plain look bowl is a very fasionable look today, For my soundboards i use master grade spruce (im a fan of very old , well seasoned engleman spruce, producing a silky smooth sound).

My fingerboards are all 1st grade ebony, unless stated otherwise.
These materials , together with my construction techniques are responsible for the sweetness and volume my bouzouki,s are renowned for. I personally, hand finish all my instruments using nitro-cellulose laquer, then  i allow the laquer  to cure for 4-6 weeks , after which it is machine buffed to achieve that deep warm lustre.
I work on my own and do not mass produce bouzouki,s, therefore all my instruments are indavidually hand crafted.

I guarantee all my instruments , but in the unlikely event of any mishaps, ill be more than  happy to assist in the best possible way.
